Hello Bennett.

Hi, sweet boy.
Boy, what a month.


Four months brought on laughter!
Really they sound like a laughter about to explode.
You take a deep breath and just hold out a loud gurgle. 
Every once and while you just can't hold it in any longer and you let it out.
A chuckle and it's so dang cute.

Your joy is consistent.
You wake up smiling and you go to bed with a sweet contentment.
Oh, and your daddy is a fireman now for the Kern County Fire Department.
Happy four months, indeed.

While the cat's away...

Mom and dad have been at work. (ma-ma at wok! da-da at wok!) 
Five days a week these mice get to play with Grandma! 
What precious times for these boys. And probably for Grandma, too... 

We can't even begin to thank her for giving up her days to take care of our two babies. Some days they are busy bees. Some days they kick it at Grandma's. 

Here are some of the pictures I recieve during my kindergarten day...
And each time I get a text, I smile to myself and breath a sigh of thankfulness.

And a visit to room 3! Forgetting my pump turned into the highlight of my whole week.

And then there was the day Graham had no interest in wearing clothes.

Proof that sometimes they are dear friends.

My oldest and his love of special spots.

I can't believe this is already happening... Joy in the bouncer... 3 1/2 months.

Grandma and Grandpa took the boys to Bakersfield's California Living Museum. CALM. 

Graham and the bobcat had a heart connection.

Bennett and this chipmunk toy had their own bond.

Thanks for putting your days aside to fill their days with walks, parks, adventure, exploring, talks, drives, farms, zoos, pools, golf, Calliou, baseball, soccer, friends, and LOVE.

You are an unbelievable blessing. 

And these boys love you to pieces.

Hume Getaway

We were invited back into Zach and Caitlynn's social circle! 
The Dennys, the Bells, and the newbies: The Lefflers!


The aunt and uncle time was abundant and precious.
"Cait. Cait. Cait? Yake. Wok. Cait."


Bennett enjoyed his first trip to the cabin and was a champ on our lake walk.

We obviously had bomby shakes after our jaunt around the lake. 
What a crew. These are quality people. 
I'm so thankful they are in Cait and Zach's life. 
And I love that they let us in on it every once in a while.

What a seriously handsome boy. Getting so big.
Talking up a storm. Climbing, running, putting, pitching, swinging, kicking.
All Boy. 

Handsome apple doesn't fall far from the handsome tree.
Gravy stud.


I'm doing my best to soak up these memories...
To take mental snap shots and hide them away in my heart.
But just in case life moves too quickly, I'll try and take some super cute pictures to help me out.
