Hello Bennett.

Let's review shall we.
Sigh. Months eight, nine, ten.
B 8 months collage
Oh my goodness. Sweet, sweet, boy...
You are a sleeper, eater, giggle box.
You love your naps and you love going to bed.
We rarely hear a peep from you once you're in bed.
This is the month you rejected my purrees. For reals, screamed with angry fists.
You only wanted the food the big guys were eating.
And that high pitched squeal of a laugh...contagious.

Are you kidding me with this face? (and the mismatched socks. Nothing new.)
This month (and it may have been earlier) you dance.
It's the BEST. Any song, any beat.
You nod your head and rock your little baby body back and forth. Thank you for that.
Also, you can't get enough of your big brother. Which isn't new but now you want to play with whatever he has and you just want to be where he is. It's precious.
Especially when you turn in your stroller and get him. Not Graham's favorite activity.
But he did love climbing in your crib. And you two squeeeealed with delight together. It was like sweet music to our ears.
B 10 month collage
Ten months. 10 10 10.
Ten months brought your first fever and the longest cuddles ever.
Secretly, part of me enjoyed your head on my chest for hours.
But my heart ached when my hand felt your little face.
Oh AND last but not least, your first words!!
"Ball, bye-bye, woof, tree"
I think you might say "ball" at least 57 times a day.
And all of a sudden you wave and say "bye bye" to everyone. How is this happening already?
Your dad still is skeptical about "chee...chee" But you look and point at the trees.
Sooooooooo, yep. First words.

Christmas Snippets.

So many festivities, so little time. But these past December days didn't seem stress filled in the slightest. And I am so thankful. Because I know that each year will bring new situations and challenges and I will need to stop.seek.and fill. So for now, I reflect and hope that He was glorified in His advent season. And I begin praying for another season of present, not perfect, days.

Finger painting Christmas trees to send to someone special.
Friends Christmas brings joy and a new batch of memories.
Daddy and Graham started their sleeping by the tree tradition.
Vaughn Christmas at 1208! Bennett was a sick puppy.

Christmas at 1208! Jamming with Uncle Zach.
Lounged, read, played a lot of "ba, ba, ba".
Underwood Christmas on Roehampton!

Christmas morning = 2 sick little boys who wake up early birly.
Graham and Bennett were delighted with their new rides.
We were in our jammies all.day.long.

Sweet moments. Homemade reading nooks. A pie cook off.
I'd say a swinging good time.

Merry, merry Christmas.

Papa and GG do Disney.

These two are pretty special.
So seeing the most magical place on earth through their eyes was precious and priceless.
And throw in this sweet face and you can't beat it.
("I cannot!" Graham's recent catch phrase.)
Riding California Screamin' with my Grandpa. Check.
An 80 year old howling with joy on his first loop roller coaster and his favorite ride of the day?
One of my life's top moments.
Bennett met the main squeeze.
We rode the dinosaur train! Whoa!
Disney days with these two.
I wish it for everyone. But I'm their mom.
And I don't get these days back.
Tuckered.
Magical.
Check.

Standing.
Crawling.
Babbling.
Oh the cutest babble ever.
Like all of a sudden you have bursts of ideas that you want to share.
"Ta-kai...ta-kai-ta-kai"

Seriously, sometimes we just shake our heads...
So much joy filling this house.
