Hello Bennett Face.

What a big summer you had, Mr. Man.

You learned how to hold your bottle all by yourself. Sometimes you just use your fists. 

And sometimes only one arm! Character.

You started sitting up around 5 and 1/2 months. 

You were thrilled. Especially at In-n-out. On the table.

Six months came along and you got to have rice cereal!

You loved, loved, loved it.

Thrilled. Worth the wait, eh?

You hung out with Great Grandpa Pearsey!

So thankful for family dinners...

Looking sharp for Megan's baby shower. Bow tie. Obviously.

You light up any room. You light up any soul.

This one goes down in the memory books.

First tiiiiiiiiime for Dodger baseball!

You picked a fabulous season to be born a Dodger fan.

Hot team. Packed house. Hum baby, hum baby. 

You are a natural part of this little family, Bennett Scott.

Golf Par-tee!

Graham Thomas Underwood loves golf.

I mean, uses any object for a golf club, knows the clubs by name, could stay on the putting green longer then his dad, asks us to sing golf songs, points out any grass as a golf course, and can drive a ball better then any other toddler I've ever seen. Obsessive love.

So naturally, we celebrated our two year old with a golf party.

And it was a hit! Kyle BUILT a miniature golf course!

Impressive, no? It was a very popular choice...followed by the sprinkler hole and the Dodger putting green. Graham was in heaven. I wish the pictures captured the complete joy that exuded him when the ball went in the hole. Cutest.thing.ever.

Bennett begged to wear his tour attire. We obliged.

Now and forever, August birthday party = jumping in the water hazard. 

I seriously cannot believe I have a two year old. I just stare at this picture and cannot believe it's me and Graham and not a picture from my own childhood. Surreal. But I love every second. 

He was so excited to stand up on that chair and get so close to his "gof cake".

But as soon as the singing started he was serious face.

You wouldn't guess he'd talk about this moment for weeks.

Happy Birthday, Graham.

You are so far from a baby it's not even funny.

Toddler life suits you.

Your excitement, enthusiasm, curiosity, energy, memory, and goofiness make us shake our heads in amazement. We couldn't love you more. What a sweet gift God has given us.

2 years old. Holy moley.

Hello July.

Jam Packed July.

4th of July and Hume front packed our month.

The rest of the month were some trips here and there and some sweet moments on Roehampton.

I suffered in Las Vegas for 5 days with my teacher friends...

...While Kyle spent his 8 day parenting. 

This happened hour 2 into the trip.

Bennett Boy got his hairs cut!  

At 5 and a 1/2 months, Kyle and I teamed together for the ultimate, first hair cut experience: A bumbo, toys, and a high voice to distract. Priceless. 

Our dark haired munchkin became a blond little boy. 

We didn't save his hair because, why? So here's a picture. Sufficient.

Neeeeext!

Lucky ducky Grahamy. When Grandma takes him to get his hair cut, a "dough-cart"afterwards is tradition. Serious business.  

A couch full of friends.

Oh the joy our girl's trip brings.

Pasadena for a night = wining, dining, and just a tiny bit of shopping.

She loves me. And our matching tendencies. 

"I made paint! I eat it!"

A sweet day of friendship. Remember when all of our babies were sleeping at once. 

Sigh. Moms of the year.

Once upon a time, mom went to decorate her school. (again.) 

Dad was home and facetimed mom with their almost 2 year old son, Graham.

G told his mom he went pee in the toilet!!!

Mom decided that dad would be in charge of potty training. 

Champs. Champs with a long way to go.

Here's how this went: "I see mom's table! I see boat!"

Clearly I don't iron enough.

Sweet Bennett started showing  a looooot of interest in eating.

But we told him slow down, little baby, slow down.

Can't you wait a month?
