Weekend Happenings of long ago...

Ok, so I'm behind. So what? Who cares?
I would just say "Eh, I'll just skip that weekend."
But this particular weekend so was just so precious.
Nothing fancy. We got to be home.

Sigh. Coming home on Friday
to these two boys in the driveway...
I'm a lucky girl.

Graham, meet ipad.
ipad, meet Graham.
Enthralled.

On Saturday, Graham and I got to hang outside for
one of the first warm days of the year!
Spring is on it's way, people. And I had big projects.

Ta-da! Vegetable and herb garden.
We'll see how green my thumb really is...

This is the face of a little boy
sitting in the shopping cart for the first time.
Not.so.sure...

Good thing Costco has plenty of things to catch our eyes...

I adore my "let's-pretend-we're-on-vacation" husband.
And clearly vacation is not vacation without cheesecake.
(We'll take a massive Costco cheesecake for 2, please.)

Sunday brunch with Grandma and Grandpa
means we got to wear our hat!
Dad is already teaching GTU manners.
Hat came off as soon as we were indoors.
At first I was bummed...
but then I was even more in love with my husband
and the father he will be to our kids...

What a sweet sweet face...Sunday afternoons are so lovely.

Oh this? This is how this went:
Desperate times called for big boy measures.
Kyle was running late and he needed help
getting his stuff together for work.
G-unit stepped up to the plate and did his part.
Alllll by himself.
Our hearts hurt a little bit, but it was helpful in the crunch. Precious boy.
