I love looking back at my weekend.
I mean, I have some pretty amazing weekends.
And even the ones that are uneventful
are usually just what I needed.
But this weekend was packed with activities.
PACKED.
Friday night we showered my friend Katy and her baby girl.
But are you ready for this?: We lit Tangled lanterns!
I freaked out just a little bit.
A lot a bit. I teared up.
I'm pretty sure everyone thought I was a crazy person.
But I didn't care. We said a prayer for Camden Jane and then we sent them off into the Bakersfield night sky.
It was magical. And so the girl let me light a second one.
(Still not sure if it's legal)
Aaaannnnd then I went home and watched Tangled.
On Saturday, we all got ready for our first family 5K!
One of my kindergartners has Cystic Fibrosis
and so we joined her "army".
I adore this little girl and I'm floored by her and her family's strength and trust in the Lord.
Brining joy to walkers right and left...
Oh this? This is the waiting line for the 2 o'clock showing, opening weekend, for the Hunger Games.
And WE are the first ones in line...embarrassing.
But we loved it. And it was so fun to be on a date.
We even got popcorn! I mean, it's Hunger Games!
Sunday brought rain and a new hand-me-down cable knit!
We lit candles, made soup, and thanked God for a change in weather!
