Hello 4 Year Old!

Happy Birthday Graham Thomas!

Again we sit wondering where the time has gone. We've been parents for FOUR years? How? But even in the past week you seem like you've grown into such a big kid. Goodbye toddler years, that's for sure. 

Your dad sometimes refers to you as an "old soul". You love playing with and having conversations with people older then you. So toddler days seem like they've been on their way out for a while...But now your looks even seem older! And it seems that each day we discover something new you can do on your own. Not because we've asked you to, but because you want to. You just jumped right into 4 years old. 

I think 4 is going to be an incredible year for you, G. You are so stinking smart and I can't wait to see what your brain will do with all those letter sounds and math equations that you know. Your memory is outstanding. Road signs, words, books, songs, shapes, numbers, math facts, Dodger players etc. Smartie.

 

You are athletic and would play outside all day if we let you. (Or if we wanted to pitch to you all day in 100 degree weather. Yeah, no.) We love that your happy parts of the day are home runs and hole-in-ones. You would stay on the golf course for hours...even longer then your Dad. You'll play "finger golf" and pretend baseball anytime, anywhere.  You are responsible and honest. (We don't think you know that you even have the option of fibbing.) 

You loooove to race and hate to lose anything. Dad says you have only one gear. Win. You're helpful and loving. You ask "how was your sleep?" every morning and "how was it?" anytime we come back from anywhere. You love planes, race cars, blanket nests, jaffys, Kershawt, numbers (obsessed), designing golf courses, drawing all sports fields, running, Zooma, reading, swimming... You definitely have your passions and you make them known to everyone through your enthusiasm and excitement. Oh sweet boy. You are a treasure. A protective big brother and a helpful oldest son. FOUR YEARS OLD. And still grabbing our hands and kissing us goodnight. Don't stop. Sanks.
