"Three cheers for the red, white, and blue...(Bennett: FLAAAAG!) Three cheers for the red, white, and blue...(FLAAAG!). The pride of America forever. Three cheers for the red, white, and blue! (FLAAAAG! YEAAAAH!!!)
The boys were super excited to hold their first fireworks. Bennett was a bit confused..."It's not going up in the aiiiir!"
Babies you are fireworks.
PS: GG is happy like a child. Precious.
We did it. Sorta. But not before the big boys refused to hold or even touch the littles. There was a lot of bribing involved. And this is right before Nolan totally lost it. To be fair, we woke him up for the Kodak moment. America the beautiful.
Remember when Graham thought he had to be in every picture. He just stood there, looking thrilled obviously, until we released him.
Food prep! Kabobs as far as the eye can see! And sangria. Mmmmmm sangria. **Please note the matching mother/daughter duo.
The kiddos helped decorate the flag cake...and look what appeared in both of Bennett's ears! BAH. And with that hat they totally look like plugs and a vegas hat.
But boy was it tasty. You're a grand ole flag.
G made his own version of our kabobs. He was pretty proud of himself.
Happy first Independence Day, Nolan James!
Lady Liberty meets Sound of Music...and loves it.
Raise your hand if you thoroughly enjoyed our 4th of July par-tayyyy!!
Nice, Nolan. Reeeal nice.
Love the cousin shot! Man, those are so tricky! Why won't the babies cooperate??? And once again, Caitlynn has the cutest twins I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of you in your patriotic Vena skirt is priceless. So glad you put it in here. This is the best blog ever. ( and not because I'm in it!) Blueberries in Bennett's ears...priceless too. Once again, great pics of a great day...
